been a while since i last blogged. today i did something kind of crazy and impulsive, all within the span of maybe 40 minutes. during film class, we watched a short film called la jetee. it’s a movie composed of entirely still images. the still images were so so nice. so after class, while waiting for a ride from my dad i looked up the movie. i found out it was shot with asahi pentax spotmatic. so i looked that up on ebay and i found a listing so after an intense 20 minutes of research and going through the discussions in the spotmatic group on flickr, i purchased the camera! it should arrive in a week and i’m so excited! it’s an asahi pentax spotmatic with a super takumar 55mm lens!!!
